CONCERTINO FOR FLUTE AND STRING ORCHESTRA is by Jeroným Zajíček (1926-2007). This is a work of professional stature. A most significant work of the 20th century, this composition possesses a depth of musical art rarely achieved and is a tribute to this composer of extraordinary skill. Zajíček came to the USA after serving on the music staff of Radio Free Europe with his colleague, Václav Nelhýbel.
