FAIRE DE VÉLO by Scott L. Hines is a work appropriate for youth or civic orchestra inspired by the composer’s son, David Michael Hines. As a child he loved to ride his bike. Hence the name which translates as “to ride a bike.” The music is a reflection of a bike ride through the country side and in its busiest moments, riding in traffic on a busy street. This is a great piece for youth orchestra, High School orchestra or a nice concert piece for a community ensemble. It’s a fun and exciting musical bike ride without the training wheels!
