Memory Dance – Band Sc – Band
$15.00
Description
MEMORY DANCE is by David Bohn. The work’s main motive is a minor 2nds for 1 beat which resolves to a minor 3rd on beat 2 and 3. The tension and resolution process works as a perfect stage for 5 Percussion parts to gently become involved. The rise and fall of long crescendos gives the work an uplifting and foward motion – the music is always moving somewhere. Consisting of half notes and quarter notes, this composition gets maximum musical effect from a minimum of technique. Well-designed! A tender rendering of a memorial to a friend. Concert Band. Score. Grade: 2 Duration: 2:23
Performance tips are in the Resources tab.
