O wondrous hope that you gave to us at the hour of death to those who mourned you when you promised to bring help to them even after death. Refrain: Father, keep your word and aid us by your pray’rs.

Then, showing by so many signs in the bodies of the afficted, bring to us the help of Christ. Heal our souls in illness.

Give glory to the Father and Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be.
